Laura Johnson

Laura Johnson is a poet and writer in Eastern Iowa who is a founding co-editor of the literary journal Backchannels. She is an MFA candidate at the University of New Orleans and is a graduate (BA, MA) of the University of Iowa. Her work has appeared in Goat’s Milk Magazine, Thimble Literary Magazine, Prompt Press, High Shelf Press, among others; her chapbook Memento Vivere  (Cabin Bear Press) is forthcoming at the end of this year.
